LESIA's mission is:

• To participate in the processes of shaping the country's social policy;

• To encourage the community's efforts in providing the health, social and rehabilitacion services to the people with epilepsy;

• To protect their social and economic rights, in order to bring about positive changes in the quality of life of the individuals and the community;

• To restore the people's with epilepsy abilities to lead an independent life and to integrate into society.
